Constant Power Fuse
Wifey bought me a dash cam for Christmas. It came with a wiring kit to piggyback off an add-a-fuse to get power. I need a constant source of power to tap off the add-a-fuse. What's a good fuse to use from the passenger floor fuse panel? Truck is an 08 SCREW, 2WD, 5.4L. Thanks
On my truck (2006), I used fuse 22 for my dash cam. Your 2008 truck also uses fuse 22 for delayed accessory power. (Camera will be powered, even when key is off, for as long as delayed accessories have power - windows, locks, radio - up to 15 minutes, or when doors are opened)
If you want constant power, use the cigarette lighter/12 volt outlet, or fuse 21, which is cluster keep alive power.
