Hi I have a 04 fx4 with a 5.4 I erased a code years ago and from then on I cannot get my truck to complete a full drive cycle. Everything is ready except the o2s and the cats the cats and 4 o2s are replaced. I do have old codes still in the computer C1979, B1318, U1950,B1352, P1233, Po708
could these codes be holding things up?

The powertrain codes absolutely

P1233 relates to the fuel pump driver module. Has yours ever been replaced?

The P0708 relates to the trans range sensor.

Id carry out some testing to see what is going on. If the FPDM is all corroded and swollen, just replace it

 

If you have any P code or if the check engine lamp is on, the monitors will not pass

 

So out of all those codes just worry about the P ones?

 

Well, it is only the P codes that make the monitors not pass and the I/M test to fail
You can research those other body and communications codes
I would get a 04 PCED if I were you. You are smart enough to use one
