I have an 05 screw lariat. and i am thinking bout installing component speakers in the doors. Woofers, Tweeters, and Crossovers. Does anyone have pics of their component speaker installations in their doors. Bc im not sure how to mount the Crossovers. Pics would be nice if possible.

 

I will post pics later, but I ran the crossovers to the rear of the truck. I am not a fan of putting the crossovers in the door due to the extra stress when slamming the doors daily, plus they run a higher risk of getting wet. I would keep them somewhere in the cabin if you can.

 

There's a specific forum under Aftermarket Products, Reviews & Installation, bellow that they talk about MODS to Stereo and Speakers. There's lots of pic's in there, you'll just have to weed through all of it to find what your looking for.
