Default comperssion test

So I have pullled all the plugs on the 5.4 L 3V 2004 f150. since they are out I thought might as well do a compression test does anyone know what the compression should be for this motor ?

Damn, I just checked my stupid *** Haynes manual and it doesn't give a procedure or any type of figures for what the compression should be. Sorry brother, might have to ask a local Ford dealer.

Under 110psi I believe is going to lead to a problems

Thanks guys. Did you know you need a special adaptor to do a compression test on these 5.4l ? Do to the longer end on the plugs i am assuming. Coould not find one any where all weekend except on amazon.com so if i can not find it tomorow guess i wont do one

There's one on advanced auto.com that comes with the longer plug socket too its a 3 piece kit..

Yes i saw the kit but, it would take a week min to get anything shipped to alberta. Or else you pay more for shipping then the product.

Then just make one with about a 6" long nipple and a gauge at the other end.
