I have a lariat with tan interior and am looking to get Weathertechs. I've heard the tan doesn't match well and most people get black. Is this true? Anyone got pictures or opinions on which color to get?

I have the tan interior in my 09 and the tan weathertech a are a pretty close match

I have a tan interior 04 Lariat. I have tan matts in mine but don't think they are Weathertech. They look good though. I'll post pictures of 'em later tonight.

I have black in my tan interior only because the black doesnt look as dirty over time like the tan does.

My wife has tan in her explorer and it is a little harder to clean up.

Can't go wrong with blacks. You aren't trying to make it look like carpet. Everybody knows its a floor mat. Get black so you don't have to worry about it

My brother has the tan weathertechs in his 06 and they look fine.

X3, I have a lariat with tan leather and I went with the tan weathertechs. I love the way they look. Personally I felt the black was too sharp of a contrast.

Yeah, the tan is not going to match perfectly but it never does- unless you have factory carpet floormats and who wants that? This has been the same w/ all the cars I have had with tan leather interiors including some nice German cars.

I have the carpet weathertechs in tan in my 06 lariat and I think they match fine.

I also have the tan. The match is good but they always look dirty no matter how often i clean them. You will see every bit of dirt on them.
