Default Cold start difficulties?

Last few times I've cold started my truck the headlights have flickered a little bit. Today all the gauges in the cluster reset, like bouncing on the bottom pin. Battery is just past the 2 year Walmart replacement of course. Cleaned up the connections and an going to check the cells later but looking for any other possible ideas before I break down and buy a battery.

Sounds like you need to CHARGE it. Take an extension cord - cut the female end off and strip the wires apart about a foot. Then strip about an inch of insulation of the white wire and black wire and stick them in the opposite end cells. Now go plug the male end into a socket. (Be sure to hold your head down ... while doing that last step. And what I ment about 'charge' it is at Walmart when you get the new one).

J. K. Don't Try ANY of that!!!!

Haha! I think I'll pass on that suggestion I'm thinking it's just the battery but it didn't do it this morning. Alternator is putting 13.9 to 14.1 into it all the time so that end appears to be working. If it had acted up about a month ago WalMart would have replaced it for free but it's now past the two year replacement of course.

Check your grounds too while you're at it!
