Shouldn't this be one of those threads when someone says to use the search function as there have already been dozens upon dozens of threads on this subject? I'm usually not "that" guy, but I will be this time. Yes, CAI give you substantial gains for the $$$. You can spend hours on this forum looking at threads with detailed info about each of the companies that offer CAI, check it out.

I installed the Roush CAI 4 days ago. Bone stock 06 5.4l with 148000KM. Really big difference in performace. Throttle response is way better, more power and sounds great. I cant say I got 25hp out of it (no dyno) but the seat-o-the-pants meters says it was money well spent. Just my 2cents fellows.

as far as I know you will see your gains at the top end WOT with an CAI.

yes most power will be gained at the top end of the rpm range, if you want bang for your buck get a tuner

the Roush is the same thing as the AIRAID. SAme design and everything. AIRAID makes the Roush intakes, i choose the roush one because i found a better price.
