Looking to add a cold air intake to my truck. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on what brand/model. I have always been partial to KN but their products always demand a premium. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Also, those who have one installed, did you notice any improvements in performance? If so what were they? Thanks!

I've had the Spectre on mine for almost 6 years now. A little more engine growl, a tad more throttle response. and maybe .000000098 mpg gain. no issues with it, liked the look, but wasn't a necessity.

I also have the Spectra and have for@ 6 years as well. No issues and the performance increase is negligible under normal use, I think there is an improvement while passing but that may be the nice moan from the intake. It reminds me of kicking in the secondaries on a 4 barrel! BTW I'm up to 226000 miles now.
