I recently installed the S&B intake on my 4.6

So far, so good!

I have the K&N on my 4.6 but I ran the factory stuff with a K&N filter element for a long time since it had 120 miles on it.. My dislikes is how the gasket fitted up to the mass air sensor. But K& N sentme another gasket that I carefully trimmed out of the air flow path due to extrusion. It does take the 2 tanks of fuel for the computer to rewrite itself. It is a we bit noisy wished they could have improved it there. Their claims are and it does really pick up the throttle response so one must change his drivingstyle so you can still achieve reasonable fuel economy. I do notice an improvement in what one would call light city driving as far as fuel usage.
