Codes p0021 & p0011
Just picked up a 2007 F150 (182k) miles. The previous owner had a shop replace the phaser kit at 170k. I saw the invoice for $2700. Test drive great. I get it and drive the truck 20 miles after getting it and these codes came on. They of course have no idea about it. Could this be possibly needs a good oil change or a vct issue? I would think the phasers would still be fine.

Hopefully someone will come along with knowledge on any required tuning or best next steps.
invoice looks legit/real, and it was a lot of $, so maybe shop will at least be receptive to talk to you and provide some assistance (but not necessarily any free help).
All that work done and too silly (being nice here) not to do phasers?
This won’t end well. Check oil pressure, but I’m betting this is a flat hack job repair.
Your saving grace (as a very recent purchase) is if you live in an emissions testing area and you can gladly let them know that truck won’t ever pass inspection and you can have your money back or another vehicle be arranged.

I don’t live in emissions testing area. I just called the shop and they confirmed that they did a livernois delete kit with the tune. I have no idea where the tuner box is nor does the seller. Could it need a tune reloaded?

Here is the link to download the Mycal tuner update application in case it needs an update online.
