Default Code P1289 trouble with mouse.

I have a '05 Screw Lariat 85K miles runs fine have been thinking of doing plugs maybe in the spring. While out today my neighbor who works on all types of cars said that a mouse ate some wires on his Lexas G something.

I said that I hope that the mouse stayed in his car. Went to Costco truck started hard ran to the store no light. Coming home had a CEL P1289 which is a Cylinder Head Temperature Sensor. CHT

When I pulled all the stuff off the front of the intake I could shine a light and see the sensor and where the MOUSE ate the wire.

Got the sensor and they will have the Jumper tomorrow. My question is since I have done all this do I replace the sensor or just continue to use it. cost $40.

Also I am having trouble disconnecting the charge motion control valve. Am finding it difficult to do this one handed.

So if anyone has a nice color picture of the stuff in the back to disconnect I would really appreciate it..

Thanks for reading. Douglas

Finished yesterday and all is well again. If I have to replace the sensor in the future I will be able to do it. Though I think that I'd change the vacuum line to the brake booster routing.
