Any time you clear codes, KAM or when programming as the programmer will run a self test and then clear codes.

That sets a P1000, once a drive cycle is completed the P1000 goes away on it's own.

Why I don't remember exactly but it has to do with federal emission compliance.

Do I have to do something in particular? I've been driving normally and it doesn't seem to be going away.

Can take up to 100 miles and more than one warm up/cool down cycle.

Well that makes sense then, I have only driven 24 miles since I bought the edge.
