Default Clunking while braking

Just changed font pads and rotors on my 08 F150 4x4 and I'm noticing a clunking sound while coming to a stop. Because of my tires I cant hear the sound until I'm almost at a complete stop, but I assume its still there.

In my experience with brakes, I've seen people leave calipers loose, leave out hardware, etc. This normally results in one "clunk" when you hit the brakes. The noise I hear gets slower as I come to a stop. Like a "clunk, clunk, clunk...clunk.......clunk.............clunk....... ..........clunk."

I've inspected both side with the wheels on and see no indication of improper installation, or rubbing on the wheels, tires or other components. I'm planning on removing the wheels and inspecting caliper bolts, and caliper bracket bolts, but is there anything else I should look for?

I will add that I reused the hardware that clips onto the caliper, and the springs that hold the pads away from the rotor.

My guess would be either loose caliper bracket bolts, loose bolts that hold the caliper to the bracket, or the slides going bad. Take everything apart and reinspct everything. Maybe also invest in new pad hardware, should be minimal $$.

I'd guess loose caliper to bracket bolts. The bracket to knuckle bolts are pretty big and I've never seen them work loose. The ones I've ever taken off required an impact.

Thanks guys. I havent had a chance to get in there and find out whats going on. Its rained every day since. I even had to do the brake job out in the rain, which is probably how i overlooked something.
