Default clunking sound

i just bought my first 4 wheel drive truck...2008 lariat 4x4 (its my 4th f150). i love the truck but after about 500 miles i started noticing a slipping feeling then a clunk sound on take off. also it seems to be a lot worse when taking off on a left turn. other people that ride in the truck notice it too. the 4wheel switch is set to 2h. its under warranty but i cant really leave at the dealership right now. i would like to hear if anyone has any ideas or have experienced this too. im all but convinced it is coming from the rear of the truck. what is a rear clutch pack?? could it be that?? please help.

Remove the driveshaft and check the nickel spline coating for wear or flaking, clean the slipyoke, and lube the splines with teflon grease. You're under warranty so it'll be covered, but thats most likely your problem, see quite a few of those. TSB 05-26-11 applied to that on the 04-05 trucks, but have had newer trucks have the same issue with the same fix. If thats not the case, you're still covered and it'll get fixed, and will get a loaner if you need one.

I forgot to add that part...!!!.... if it does show signs of flaking or wear, the driveshaft gets replaced. Don't know how I forgot that.... glad you said something sgamherst@roadrunner Thanks!
