If it happens when you put it into gear, it could a bad u-joint on your driveshaft. Do you feel any vibration through the drivetrain while you're going 40-50 mph?

How did you lower the front? Did you have to breat apart the ball joints? With a fork type tool? I suspect these may be damaged.

No sir only thing i took off was the steering component that bolts to the back of the hub i believe its the tie rod and then just took the strut assembly out to switch springs

Did you replace the strut mounts? How many miles are on your truck? Sounds like it's probably something in the strut assembly.

I have the same problem. I believe but am not sure that my noise started about 20k mile ago when I had my shocks changed. What has changed on my suspension trying to resolve the noise are the tie Ross and lower call joints. Thi weekend I'm going to swap out upper ball joints. Where are the strut mounts located on the strut tower?

Mine only does it when i go akwardly on a dip were the front flexes back and forth im starting to think its either my new springs springin or when its flexin the spring hits the strut but that would be weird but it has rub marks on it that werent there when i changed out the springs...when i go visit my dad this weekend hes gonna help me look at it more since hes a genious compared to me haha
