Clunking

Sometimes while im driving let off the gasthan get back on it the truck jumps especially when im goin through turns 04 150 5.4 65k on rebuilt tranny 116k on truck. Im think rear end play in the pinion

Do a search on the dreaded clunk

I had same issue

Take off drive shaft and grease the spline really good

It's for real

Ill try the grease its almost as if the pinion is turning and than the ring catches it. But there is no play and u-joints are new. Just wondering if anyone had similar problems
