Default climate control.

Today i got into my truck and noticed an issue with the climate control. Normally it displays the temperature and the air blows constantly, but now the display will show for a few seconds before going black, and then repeats. Along with the display doing that, the air is actually doing the same thing in that when the display comes back from black, the air blows for a short second and then stops when the display goes black. I am at a loss of what to do...has anybody seen this before or know what I may be doing wrong? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

It may be the climate control box....that's a pricey piece too. You can remove the radio/climate control trim panel (pulls straight out) and check the lower right connections for tightness, although it has a slide lock type mechanism to keep it tight.

Try a junkyard for a possible cheaper used replacement.

Try replacing the blower motor resistor first. It is located behind the glove box. Coast about $25.00.
