hey all. i just ordered a black mesh grill but it doesn't come with the border that wraps around the outside. it's for a black king ranch (replacing stock grill) and i would like it to be black as well. any thoughts on how to do this? i don't know if i need to paint the chrome piece hopefully not. thanks.

 

You could try to find somebody wanting to get rid of a black one and possibly make a deal with them? But as far as i know, painting those chrome parts is a bitch to do it right and if done wrong wont work all too well. I'd probably search craigslist or ebay.

Btw nice truck, mine was just like it barely a year ago

 

I have one but it's blue. I'm looking for a chrome, maybe painting a already painted grill border is better than trying to paint chrome?
