Calm down there sparky. I never called you a name. However, you called me one. And the word is spelled,******. Calm down there. Everyone knows neon lights, strobes, and anything else sold at pep boys, wal mart,or auto zone, are made for ricers. BTW,with that screen name, you have no room to call anyone a ***.

I am thinking about putting some white noon lights under my truck. so when I am hunting I can turn them on and see around my truck in the late evening and predawn when I am coming and going in to the woods.

I guess that makes me a ricer want a be.
Yes,it does.

I would think that you could use a brighter light source to be honest. Neons aren't the most durable item to use for an off road vehicle.

My question to you was, were you gonna ride around town like a light show. I didn't think you were.

I see so many I couldn't begin to count em. I'm not knocking leds, they work and they're effective. You can see them better then standard bulbs and they also ignite faster. That's win win in my book. That also doesn't mean I'm mounting them all over my hood and grille and mirrors...

Dude, you started the name calling: Haters, faget.

I'm not hating on anyone. I'm stated my opinion, you asked us to check em out. We did, you had some positive comments and some negative ones. Hell, I've seen guys put a picture of their truck on this site just to show what they've done and the poor sucker get heavily critiqued for everything from his wheels to the lift he installed to the paint color he picked.

All I'm saying is don't get offended about it. You want lights, get lights. You want lifted truck, lift it, lower do whatever you want. We ain't the ones driving it. Do your own thing!
Sorry I missed this one. Would have saved me some typing.

the brights work fine for what is in front of me but does nothing for the sides. It is no fun drooping something when you get out and can not find it.

when Hunting I do not drive with my hunting boots on and when it is cold I do not dive with my insulated clothing on so I tend to get dressed beside my truck using the dome lights and they do not work well. I was thinking the Neons would light up around the truck so I could see better.

Thanks for the info on them not not being able to stand up to off roading.

I should add, it depends on the path you ride on too. If it's pretty cleared you'd probably be ok. If not, I'm just not sure.

A buddy of mine added some fog lamps underneath the truck and wired them up to a switch like regular foglamps. He added two to each side and it's plenty bright and cost less then neons would. The reason he did it was for hunting and hitting the woods at night. He also lives on a dirt road and he likes to see what's beside him.

Get your hunt on!

My old truck had 24 inch black rockstar rims, nothing wrong with rockstars at all. Nothing fagish or ricey about them either.
