Default Check charging system light

Hi guys, I have a problem it’s my 2007 lariat. The Check charging system light comes and goes, I verified the alternator is generating 14.25 V ( enough to charge the battery ) with the motor in the lowest rpm… still the light shows up… sometimes even on high rpm… battery seems fine as it is normally charging and holding 12V for weeks… also I tested with any other thing on as AC or radio, light still show up intermittently and goes away after 1 min or more…
any ideia what could be that ?
appreciate your help

i'll bet it's the voltage regulator in the alternator. Motorcraft re-man would be the way to go. it's hit or miss with aftermarket ones, our trucks are very picky on the voltage regulator.

step one: ensure cables/terminals and clean and tight, the. have battery and alternator professionally tested
