I keep getting a check charging system in my truck. Battery is good, Alt is charging. It has been happening for the past 6-8 months, even had dealer check it while it was getting serviced and found nothing. It annoys my wife to death and traveling during Christmas was "fun"!! "Whats that noise? Are we going to blow up? Are we going to break down?" It happens more on a curvy hwy than on interstate travel(Straight). I am thinking I may have a loose ground or a wire that is grounding. Anyone ever had this issue?

 

6-8 months, have you checked connections and the grounds? Start there first. Could also be a bad solder joint in the cluster board as well causing the light to pop on and off if you cannot find any bad grounds or connections.
