$100 is downpayment at some places to buy something that's meant to go fast.

Horsepower cost money. No way around it. Want your truck to beat your cousins ricer? You have two options: Whipple supercharger with 39LB injectors, ECU re-flash, longtube headers with hi-flow cats and flow through muffler, slicks, remove any excess weight like spare tire, tool box, ect. Or, keep it how it is and challenge him to a towing or payload contest.

What he said. If you want fast, don't buy a truck.

mmmmm talk dirty to my truck and tell her all about the upgrades she will never see.....hahahaha

or if he wants to turn his truck into a ricer he can just put the stickers on it and according to ricers stickers=horsepower. plus a coffee can muffler and your done!

even though its not horsepower, its the torque that matters

Use the search. I see this is your first post, so welcome aboard!

More air (cold air intake), free flowing exhaust, and a tuner. These will gain you the best performance for the money (although two out of the three are over $100.00).

Like everyone posted, you own a truck, not a speed vehicle. Challange your cousin to a towing contest. You'll win that over his ricer.

haha, agreed brother. I just want Blownford's set up and then i can call it good. Sad thing that life and living expenses keep getting in the way of $10k worth of mods I want. And X2 on torque, I would be happy if I could make my truck push me against the seat like my dad's Powerstroke.
