All good info. My dad also has a 2004 xlt super cab with power mirrors, heat, andturn signals. Mine is also an xlt with only power adjustment, just no turn or heat.

Hmmm. I was not aware that the turn signal option was available in the early '04 and '05 models. Good to know.

I'm aware though that a wiring change was done sometime between '06 and '07 that changed the ground pin.

JB2012: I’m attempting to do same/similar, I’ve acquired a set of 2019 OEM mirrors and want to put them on my 08. Trying to figure out pin diagrams for mirror for 08 and 09 and/or find someone who has already don’t this. Please reach out if you are still on forum and get this message.

i got these off amazon took them araprt added turn and parking lights as well as spotlights and heated mirror wire on my 07. they are extendable tow mirrors

this is the mirror only not the turn or spotlights i added. it wasnt to hard to take apart the turn signal had to be cut in then siliconed but beats paying what they want for mirrors like this, after i got them put back together i sprayed with bedliner and they turned out great ill post pic of them after paint in few days.
