Default Changing dash bulbs to led?

I was wanting to change my dash bulbs to LEDs. I don't need to change the color I just want the gauges to be more vivid and bright.

Does anyone have a write up on the best way to do this?

What color white or green to give a stock but brighter appearance?

What kind of replacement led bulbs and best dealers?

If anyone has any pictures of the mod that would be great.

Thanks in advance.

Thumbs up Odometer light LED swap

I had the burned out odometer light in my 08 XL. I used led bulbs from amazon
http://www.amazon.com/Partsam-Instrument-Speedo-Gauge-Cluster/dp/B00KSSYNIE?ie=UTF8&psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00 http://www.amazon.com/Partsam-Instrument-Speedo-Gauge-Cluster/dp/B00KSSYNIE?ie=UTF8&psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00
there are 11 bulbs in the dash, the kit i got only worked in the five grey light holders not the black ones "for speedometer voltage temp etc"

blue led's

I am trying to find out which LED's will work with the speedometer etc. but the blinkers odometer and warning lights are blue now.

I did not know this...

I can't see mine as the light went out, I didn't think I could replace the light for the digital readout.

Default Thank Youtube

Yeah I found this video
is pretty quick like four bolts to get cluster out 8 or so on back of cluster holding the plastic cover. I could only get 5 of the 11 changed the larger lights were for the dials I didn't mess with, got blue blinkers and odometer now though
