i know there are other threads somewhere but the search bar hates me so here it is... I bought a Cobra 19DXIV Cb (http://www.theisens.com/store/p-2341...-channels.aspx) and Aries 2' dual antenna kit similar to these: (http://www.ebay.com/itm/DUAL-BLACK-2...item5891e97213) with the mirror mounts and 9' of coax... I need suggestions on where to mount the radio and the antennas

 

I have a wrap around center console withe the shifter there also, but my boss has a xlt that has the column shifter and he mounted his on the plastic panel to the bottom right of the steering wheel. I'm not a fan of two antennas because it splits your signal. You need the antennas mounted to something metal that is grounded. So Just make sure your swr's are below 1.5 at the radio and you should be fine. I'm not sure about the antenna mount kit. It looks to me like its for the mirrors on a semi. If I could suggest a antenna it would be a Wilson "little wil" its magnetic and its usually very easy to get good swr's and cost about $30 with 18' of coax

 

i think im gonna have to get different mount brackets... I have the front bench seat and my girlfriend likes to ride in the middle so i dont want to floor mount it there
