Exclamation CB Radio Install Ideas

I have a 2005 FX4 with the center shift console and dont really want to drill anything! I was looking for ideas on where other people have mounted theirs at. The best i have seen yet is altering the ash tray to house the radio. Please post pictures or ideas. thanks

I really miss the CB in my Jeep and I plan on installing a CB in my FX4 soon. I didn't see a lot of places to install one, but I think I'm going to buy the Cobra 75 WX ST Compact. It's basically a compact CB where the power module mounts under the dash and the only exposed part is the actual mic/controls.

This light be a stupid question, but what do y'all use the CBs for? I'm not quite sure why you'd want to put one in your truck?

Around here channel #4 is used for offroading, and I use channels 19/21 alot when I travel. You can get a lot of info on a CB from popo sitings, accidents, or in an emergency some help.

Cell phones are great, but they aren't perfect especially out in the middle of no where!
