When I purchased my truck there was no bed extender but there was hardware for the what looks like a universal mount. I recently purchased an OEM bed extender and have the hardware for this, but I am not able to remove the old hardware still inside the bed. The problem is with the bottom bolt on both sides. I removed the taillights and can see the nut spinning along with the bolt. There is nothing I can get in there to grab onto the nut to keep it from moving. Anyone have any ideas how to get this out of there? Anyone have any problem like this?

 

When I put mine on I used a socket to tighten the nuts through one of the holes under the taillights.....
