It goes both ways...i have 1 steering stabilizer on my 8" BDS and it greatly increased the handling/steering on and off road. So it depends who you talk to.

I installed a 6" RCD (Race Car Dynamics) on my 06 XLT. I really liked the lift, and it came with bilstein 5100 shocks, plus extended braided steel brake lines. It drove like a dream, and I never had any issues with it.

the bad part was the price. I purchased the kit in 2007, and paid 2100.00 IIRC.

I think if I was to do it again, I would go with the fabtec kit, based on pricing and reviews.

Rancho 4" with the 9000's... No complaints whatsoever.. My first choice was RCX... Got a good deal on the Rancho plus it was the last of a dying breed for the 2004-08 model..

they might be. I haven't researched them in several years, but at the time of my purchase, that would have been my alternative option.

Correct, if you get the 4-6" bilsteins from Topguncustomz. You can get the regular bilstein 5100's, set them at 0" and keep the 6" spacers if you wanted to go that route

sweet thanks for the info man. appreciate it. Also i would imagine that lifting and putting 20's with 35's on it extremely kill the gas mileage. do any of you with lifts and 35's use your for your daily commute to work. Mine is about 50 mins

Yea that will suck if thats one way...i know a bunch of guys use their trucks as DD's but dont know about that long of a drive. If you are gunna do a 6", def go 35's though. It is a truck so you cant be too concerned about mpg with a 6" lift and 35's. You can help it out by getting All-terrain tires instead of aggressive mud terrains.
