Cam washers needed for alignment?
were nuking this....I just installed the 2 in leveling kit on my NEW 08 2300 miles.... the only thing that needed adjustment was the toe (tires pointing towards eachother cause the tie rod are a lil shorter cause the wheels are pushed down away from the rack) the driver was off 4.8 and the pass was off 5.0 it took less than 10 min and it was done and rides perfect.... I have the printout that they gave me showing where the specs are and all other setttings were within factory setting range and then the toe got adjusted and it was locked in at .1 , and .09... I watched them do it... nothing to it..... your truck is made for the tires to stay in a path of travel.. you just pushing it down in the same path of travel it would still be in... so the camber ect wont change.... unless maybe you go 6 in or so.... it's really a simple job and no extra parts were needed. The same guys that alligned my 99 expedition and recommended use of the cam kit are the same guys that allignen my 08 and didn't say a word except they were shocked how the level kit didn't change anything and that was a cool mod for the price and the look it gave afterwards.... cant lose!!
