I was having a rough idel and the check engine light came on. It through out the cam shaft sensor code. I replaced the camshaft sensor on the passenger side. Check engine light came up w/ the same code error. After careful insepction of the sensor, I noticed that there was a groove grinded out from the center of the sensor (sorry, it was thrown out before we wanted to take a picture of it). Any ideas what might have caused this? I'm guessing what ever grinded it, may be now messed up inside the valve cover.
