Ever since I bought my brand new 08 FX2 I joined this site, and I have been reading about the cam phasers failing after a period of time.. Now it's got me thinkin that I bought a truck thats goin to have parts fail on it eventually. But I've only read about this between the 04-06 models. Is this something Ford fixed for the last year models? Buddy of mine has a 04 lariat and you can tell his cam phasers are making a loud noise, his truck sounds like a diesel! Sounds way different than my FX2. And if this is a common problem with most f150's why hasn't Ford notified all owners and try to release updated parts?
