Cam Phaser Question

Default Cam Phaser Question

I eplaced the phasers and all the timing when I was turning the motor over by hand I noticed the new phasers spooling up and then springing back is this normal I dont remember my old phasers doing it

No the locking pin should prevent this it is not locking. I did the same thing am about to redo the job with all ford parts.
