Default Cam/Caster kit?

I just got done rebuilding my front end on a 2007 5.4 4x4. Few questions.

1. Anyone get stuck having to cut off the LCA bolts? Mine were basically rust welded in there.
2. Should I, or do I need to put in a Camber/Caster kit now that it's done? I installed Rancho Quicklift's to eliminate the coil spacers, but I'm not sure if this kit is something I need or not.

Did you put in new LCA's? Confused as to why they would be removed if not. As for a CC kit, I have 8" of lift and it aligns fine. Hope that helps

Alignment cam kits don't help with alignment, they help keep it aligned. There is a slot where the LCA bolts up so the LCA can be moved in or out about an inch. Some trucks have issues with the LCA staying put even past torque spec. The cam kits lock the LCA in place so it can't move inward or outward.

If you are going to be doing some hard off-roading I would recommend them but for street only they probably aren't needed - unless your LCAs won't stay put.

I had a set and they worked fine - I eventually had tabs welded to the frame that lock the lowers in place - adjustability is achieved now via adjustable UCAs.

Yeah I put ne LCA's in but the old bolts were rust welded in, so I had to cut them and order new bolts... wasn't sure about the kit. I put Quicklift struts in to eliminate the coil spacers
