i second that, the metal will kinda defeat the purpose of keeping the air colder because it will heat up more then the plastic will.

I am aware of the temp increase the metal will cause. Looking at it more from an aesthetic point. Looking to powder coat a custom color. Truck I purchase came with a plastic Airraid intake tube.
