I have a Banks CAI on my 2004 F150 and I have the SCT livewire. When I load the canned tune tune with the CAI selected I keep getting a check engine light with the codes for lean. When I deselect the CAI on the livewire it runs fine and no check engine light.

Is it OK to run it this way and if I don't get the check engine light all is fine? Or am I asking for trouble?

 

sounds like you'll be asking for trouble running the canned tune with CAI. i ran into the same problem with my truck. i have the gotts mod and with the canned tune my truck was detonating horribly, but with no CEL. i returned mine to stock till i can get a custom tune.
