Looking to improve power of my 06 5.4 but don't want to drop 3k on a whipple. I was thinking either a K&N cold air intake or an exhaust cutout with electric opening that dumps in front of the cats and mufflers. This way I could open and close it as I please with a switch. Anyone recommend one over the other? Will a dump give me that much power boost or is it mainly just for the sound?
