Default Cab light replacment. Hard wire help

Anyone that has Recon cab lights. If you hard wired them (spliced) please help. One light is out, and its already hard wired i think, the people i paid to do it did it. So i think its the bulb, so I just need one light, but anyways. How hard is it to do the hard wire? I dont want to pull the headlinder down, id like to do it right on top of the roof. Whoever has done this, please help. Im not good with wiring, so dont be brief. If its just wire green to green, and red to red, let me know. But be detailed please.

You should be able to unscrew the lens on top of the cab to get to the bulb. Is it the bulb or wiring?

If it was working intermittently, sounds like a connection issue to me. Could be a bad connection in the wiring (probably the most likely), or it could be the bulb has a poor connection in its socket. I'd check the bulb, and while you're looking at the bulb, check the socket with a 12v meter and make sure there is power @ the socket. If the bulb/socket is fine, but no power, you've got a wiring issue, which will almost certainly require taking down the headliner.

Sounds like a wire problem to me too. Dropping the headliner isn't that big a deal. Take off the sunvisors, pop the center console thing down, unscrew the A-pillars and that's it!
