i have a 2007 F150 Extended Cab freshly imported from the US to Germany and I curHey, I have a 2007 F150 that I'm currently working on. I imported the truck fresh from the USA to Germany and now need to do some work on it to get it ready for the German TÜV inspection. Right now, I'm in the process of removing rust, and I've taken off the truck bed and the cabin for that purpose. Now, here's my question: with the cabin, there are these crossmembers, and all of mine are rusted at the ends, as you can see in the picture below. Where can I get new crossmembers, or do you think I should just cut them off properly and leave it like that? Thanks a lot for your help.

There have been guys looking for those on here in recent years. I'm not sure if they are available still or not.
if they aren't totally rusted through I think I would attempt to have them blasted and then treat with epoxy primer/paint and then like a fluid film.

 

They are readily available, could check eBay.
