Maybe you should've bought a Tundra then.

My '06 is 14 years old and not a lick of rust on the thing because it's been a Colorado Truck it's entire life. My point is that the rust belt will eat anything made of steel. Friggin tanks will eventually rust away there. Doesn't mean Ford sucks, means they didn't design them to survive long term in that "little" of an area. Ford is one of the largest world wide vehicle manufacturers - doesn't make sense for them to design everything for just that little area.

Don't expect to come to an F-150 forum, talk about how terrible they are and expect sympathy.
