Default A.c. smell

Best way, if any, to remove the musty smell when I turn on my ac?

Run the fan on the highest setting. Don't use recirculation. Spray a strong odor remover in the ac intake (the cowl by the windshield wipers) Cycle between cold and heat.

I think they actually make something for auto ac. But yeah, any odor eliminator should do. If it's mildew, it made be a good idea to have the system flushed or just blast the heat to attempt to dry the lines. Also can spray the odor eliminator directly in the vents

I've actually had a weird issue with my a.c. it seems to condensate, like, A LOT. Especially at idle, I'll have a huge puddle in l like 5 minutes. I have the a.c. running because my kid is in there. I've had it checked and was told it was good. It had popped a fuse for the compressor I believe, and the next size fuse up was put in and it hasnt done it since. The extra condensation im now sure is whats causing the smell, but how do i fix the excess condensation issue?

This is caused by bacteria, it needs to be killed not masked. Also make sure your drain hole for condensation is open and flowing. It's cause dirty sock smell in home ac units.

Where would that drain plug be located on my 2005 F150 4.6L V8 2WD? Don't know much about a.c. systems.
