Default A/C issues

Hi All

I have a 2004 f150 lariat.
when the truck is cold, the a/c works great. blows cold. if I shut the truck off once the engine is warm and restart the truck, a/c no longer works.
Temp gauge shows normal

any ideas?

thanks in advance!

when the engine is cold, yes, it cycles even when the engine warms up, it still cycles. if you shut it off and restart, it will not cycle anymore.
is there a temp sensor or pressure switch that may have failed? once the engine is worm, doesn't send a signal to let the ac pump run?

The pressure switch should be around the drier.
Question. Have you charged the system lately?
