Default A/C issue et cetera

2007 F150 FX4
180k

Howdy
Having issue with the a/c in that it is not blowing. I start the truck, turn the a/c on and the blower does not come on. In addition the two turn signal indicators within the cluster stay lit and I am unable to shift from park to drive. Turn the a/c off and the indicator lights go off and I am able to engage drive.

Any ideas what the issue could be?

Yeah, your ground behind the right side passenger kick panel is rusted out.

The power of the internet!
You were right. Loose but not rusted. The person that worked on the truck two or so months ago took the ground off and did not tighten when finished.

I really the appreciate you solving this. How did you know?

We see someone post with these same symptoms about every other month and most of the time it's because that ground is rusted away and they have to attach it up higher... Thanks for reporting back what you found.

I figured it probably has come up before but figured the specific symptoms would not come up in a search.

Yeah, it's more of a pattern that's becoming more recognizable to the more active members as we observing it happening over and over.

Glad we pointed you to the correct location!
