Default A/c emergency!!!!!

I live in Florida and it's a must to have A/C in the summertime. I work outside all day long in the hot sun and need the A/C in the truck to work so I have a place to cool down.

The air conditioning just stopped working all of a sudden

When the far right switch is changed from the off position to the MaxA/C position, it makes like a "creaking" sound, like as if you were walking on wood floors?? (lol, best way I can think of explaining it) but then it doesn't blow any air at all.

I leave the switches on MaxA/C and Full Blast and it will kick on every once in a blue moon, but when it does, it sounds like it's struggling.

Can someone please help me diagnose the problem and come up with a solution?

Not 100% sure, but the creaking sounds to me like it might be your blend door. Sorry to say, but not an easy fix if it is that.

Open your glove box and allow the door to hang all the way down by pressing the right side into the left.... Now that you can see in there, get a flashlight and cycle the switches on the AC... If you hit defrost you will see a door that opens and closes allowing the the dash to flow air.... Check this area for obstructions... There maybe something from your glovebox stuck in there or something that may have fallen into the dash... Good luck!
