ok..pop quiz....when i start my truck and i have the ac on i start hearing this like loose metal sounding idk noice,and when i turn my ac off it goes away..so i know its something to do with my compressor but wanted to know if anyone knows wut it could be?

 

make noise if you put the eat on too? could be the blower but if there's nothing more than normal noise with the heat on, then turn the ac back on & look under the hood at the ac pulley. is it spinning at the same rpm as the belt/pulley? look at the center to see if it's spinning & at the same speed as the pulley. if it seems like it's makin a ton of noise inside it then the compressor shelled out on ya.

well i havn't tried with the heat yet but i popped the hood and listened to where it was coming from and its def. the compressor..idk ill go check the pully and see if thats it
