Thanks for all the info that was provided. The problem solved. The CHT sensor harness was damaged between the motor and wall. No idea how or why. But after checking it thoroughly and repairing it with a Dorman replacement, all functions are working. The relay kicks in when the ac is turned off/on in the cabin. I disassembled to old relay and found it had welded. Sure beats having to replace the PCM!
