Default Bully Dog Tuner

Hey,

I was at my Chiropractors office (who I am well aquainted with) yesterday because I slipped down my back steps...ouch....and was mentioning that we got a new 2007 F-150 and re quickly replied by saying "HAVE I GOT THE THING FOR YOU!!" Then went on to say he leased a 2008 Lincoln Mark V or whatever the Lincoln F-150 is... and he bought a Bully Dog tuning thing for it and said he loved it. Well he turned in his lease a while back and said he would sell it to me for $200 bucks. He said you can program your truck to either get better fuel mileage (saying he got about 3mpg better) or more power (said he could really tell the difference) and adjust shift points etc.

I did a little bit of looking on the bully dog website and it looks like they really only sell one model that works for most trucks so I assume that is what he has. It actually looks kinda complicated and that you can actually do some damage to your engine if you don't do stuff right, so that leads me to this question...

1) is it worth $200 bucks?

2) is it a good idea to use it and play around a bit or does it have a reasonable probability of hurting something?

3) Has anyone used this thing and what did you think?

Thanks!!

Anyone have any thoughts? I did search the forum and see some stuff on this thing but its mostly people who are getting rid of it for something else, if someone has one or knwos someone who does I'd really like to know if its worth 200 bucks or if thats too much, or if its not worth 10...

Thanks
