Was it mandatory to replace your leaf springs? What's the load capacity? Also, are the traction bars that attach to the crossmember there to prevent axle wrap or to allow more support?

The leafs arent mandatory to replace. He could have went with the 6" RIZE block but it was a wise choice to go with the new leafs for sure.
The kicker brace bars are there to support the lower crossmember. Traction bars are in the rear and help keep the axle wrap/wheel hop at bay. He does not have traction bars in the rear.

Hey XL, did you get new a new driveshaft front or rear? I would imagine the shop had to alter the pinion angle a bit with shims on the leafpacks unless the leafpacks came with the correct shims.

Nice truck xl. Are gears on your list? My 3.55s and 315/70/17 were bad, I can imagine with the weight of those tires that the truck is working pretty hard to move them. What does each wheel/tire weigh?

Nice! Finally got around to doing a write up. Lol at the lady who said she couldn't see your lights and then you coming back with LED tails (put that in your pipe and smoke it!). Haha, priceless. Your truck looks awesome as always. I still can't belive how nice of stance your truck has from the amount of lift and wheels. The grille looks awesome too.

No I didnt need the new leafs but I got them cuz i wanted them but with goin with the 5100s up front the rize 6 block would have left me 2" lower in the rear. And rize wants 1200 for the block u-bolts and crap shocks and i spent 1100 and got the leafs and 5150 shocks on the rear making a way better ride.

No all stock on the driveshafts however on the rear shaft i put a spacer on just incase. and the leafs come with just the right angle.

They are on the list but way down the list. the truck runs better then stock really. the sct changed the shift points and stuff just right. If I do more to the engine like (whipple supercharger) then i will do the gears at that time.

Cool. I thought the bars that that attach from the rear axle to the center crossmember was called a traction bar. Thanks!
