I have a 04 f150 fx4. Yesterday I got stuck in the snow, so as normal I turned on my 4wd. Well apparently even though the the light lit up it didnt kick in right away. The truck started moving anyway, got stuck again, this time while I was spinning the 4wd decided to kick in with a big bang. Now my 4wd doesnt work and when I drive it I hear some not so nice noises. I hear these noises mostly when I'm on the power. If I coast I dont hear them. If I put my truck in 4wd I get a couple of random bangs but I dont hear the noise. Anyone have any ideas where I should begin my search for whats broken ?
