Default Brakes

Hey guys.
It's time to Change out the brake pads. I want the ceramic brake pads for sure. I drive a lifted truck like a lot of us with larger tires and I want the best stopping power I can have (plus I'm tired of mine now squeaking like hell). My questions are:
1. What brand brake pads are quality ones? I've heard about hawks. (Suggestions)?
2. Would it be smart to replace my rotors with performance ones too? If so recommendations?

Thanks!

This thread will get lots of differing opinions. I did mine with EBC Green Stuff pads and EBC slotted and dimpled rotors. I am very happy with the results and would recommend for anyone else.

A lot of people on this forum will push for Hawks and EBC. But the brakemotive discs and rotors don't get a bad review at all. I would check them out. I bought them for cheap and have nothing to complain about. Much better stopping power then stock and no brake dust. Great combo for the money in my opinion.

PS... Rotors in my opinion are cheaper to replace then to turn. If you are just replacing pads, at a minimum you should turn the rotors. But its almost worth it to just start fresh with some new rotors because they aren't too expensive no matter what brand. And it's less hassle. I have two sets of rotors so I can turn and replace with some fresh ones every change of pads
