Brakes?
If you pull of you front tires, and inspect the brake pads and rotors, you should be able to find out quick. The rotors are supposed to be smooth, and the pads should have enough padding on the and not be metal to metal. To make sure your rotors are not warped take a ruler and hold the edge across the outside of the rotors, the whole edge should touch it.
If that is not it have someone inspect your tires. My old Exploder had this problem too, but the tires needed a re-balance.
Hope this helps and good luck sir.
Sounds like warped rotors. Turning the rotors can "true them" again, but most of those rotors warp again. And change the pads whatever you do. Old/used pads will not allow the pads and rotors to wear in properly. Replace the rotors with good quality rotors from a place like napa and not auto zone or some place like that. Don't be fooled by the lifetime warranty b.s. auto zone or someplace like that gives you! Have heard nothing but good things about the Hawk LTS pads on this forum. While you are down there, check the front end components. A Haynes manual will help greatly. Good luck, be safe!
